BAAMI GMTEQ MISSION

The official professionals of the GMTEQ reserve, actively participate in the development of the integral action, necessary for the solution of the internal conflict in the strengthening of the institutional image, as a fundamental element for the fulfillment of the objectives entrusted to the GMTEQ.

It supports the logistical, administrative, operational and psychological activities of the GMTEQ, it also serves as a link to establish, strengthen and preserve the integration of the civil and military establishments.

The official professionals of the GMTEQ reserve will continue to be the best mission support battalion of the thirteenth brigade, maintaining officers committed to their work and dedication to fulfilling the mission. Continue with the permanent and continuous work under the policies of the GMTEQ commander in comprehensive action.

HISTORICAL REVIEW Mechanized Cavalry Group

No 10 “Tequendama”

Founded on February 17, 1996 under Provision 0013 of December 28, 1995.

The story began on February 17, 1996 in the municipality of La Calera-Cundinamarca. With the activation of the Mechanized Cavalry Group No. 10 Tequendama ready to face the different criminal forms of subversion and other elements that alter the legal and social order in this territory.

The ceremony was attended by the Minister of National Defense, Dr. Luan Carlos Esguerra Portocarrero; the Governor of Cundinamarca, Dr. Leonor Serrano de Camargo; the then commander of the Military Forces, General Camilo Zúñiga Chaparro: the commander of the Army, General Harold Bedoya Pizarro.
